Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress was born. Lefevre was a waitress at tables when she was in her teens and was discovered by a Canadian filmmaker, and he was able to help her get her first job as an actress. She then moved to Los Angeles and earned a part-time role in the tv program What About Brian (2006). In the time that Lefevre was employed at a Montreal sushi bar in her teen years an uninvolved customer was informed about her desire to become an actor. He introduced her to an actor casting director. This led to an Canadian television sitcom. Her appearances on David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to play the lead role in David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of BBC successful Life on Mars (2009). Lefevre was brought up in Montreal through her father's French family, though she was raised in English. Lefevre landed her biggest movie role to date in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. It's the debut of a cult novel series for teenagers.
