Summer glau

Firefly, Whedon's new hit series, was a result of her one-off episode. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role of River Tam. The character of Summer Glau, Tam was forced to sit for government exams to help her prepare for the role of an ideal assassin. Tam did not have control over her feelings as a consequence. On Firefly Glau was capable of displaying not just her acting skills but her ability to fight. The fact that she was being trained to be an assassin allowed Glau to fully use her athletic skills. Summer Glau is a classically educated ballerina. She also has studies in tango and flamenco but it was a fractured toe which ended her dance career. Firefly did not last for more than one season, but the show gained an avid fan following. So passionate that Whedon came back to the show just a couple of years after. Summer Glau kept on getting her fair share of work. Summer Glau appeared on television programs such as Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
