Zoe-perry

Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago in Illinois. She was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as shown in flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's first TV roles. Because of their fear of stress, the parents didn't want to see performing before turning 18. Perry said that she was timid to perform at the age of 16, but she began doing shows in the theater at Northwestern University as a way to meet new people after she transferred to the university from Boston University. Perry was a graduate of Boston University, moved in New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness brought her back to California in search of theater jobs. Perry was a part of Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015, she appeared alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. Perry was also featured in an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal with her father. The actress also portrayed the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role via an audition.
